As I proceeded to leave and notify the front desk as to why, the response was okay.

No one ever came in and I walked out of the room at 9:59. I had been at the office for an hour that had no other noticeable patients.

I felt that I was not of importance to this doctor.

One thing I noticed in the check in room a cup that said "don't mistake your google research for my medical degree"

I am looking for a doctor for my family. I arrived at 9am for an 9:30 appt. they asked me to come 15 mins earlier to complete paperwork. I decided to come a little earlier so it would not be a hectic morning for them or myself.

I do not know if the doctor is a good doctor or not. I choose him because his reviewed seemed to be decent. But as I noticed him at his desk at 9:59 am as I walked out, it did not seem he was in a hurry to say anything to me waiting in a room for 30 mins.

But when my appointmented time at 8:30 was not met within a reasonable 15 min wait or even a notification by an office member (or doctor himself) that he may be a little late to tend to me, that is where I realize that I am not important to this doctor as a new patient.

When I arrived at 9 am I did not see any other patients or cars leading to me think they were busy. If anything, I was happy because I thought I may be in and out of here. I looked at the time about 9:53am. I decided if someone did not come in soon I was not going to stay somewhere where my time is also considered important.

Doctors ask us to respect their time. I have the same expectations as I too work. Time is money for both the Doctor and myself.

Dr. Banuelos has been my FP since 2013. He is a careful listener, provides accurate diagnoses, and offers thoughtful advice for prevention. I trust his judgement. His “bedside manner’” is exemplary.

Not sure if that has anything to do with what type of doctor he could or could not be.

Patients get billed for when missing an appointment, have to be rescheduled if more then 15 mins late, etc...

I completed the paperwork in about ten mins. I was called back about 8:25ish ( I wasn't really eyeballing the time) and completed checkin. I was placed in a room that I sat in for 30 mins before deciding to leave.
