Great barn, very well run and kept. They give lessons to every experience level and have multiple trainers to learn from. They have two arenas, which allows for more than one lesson to be going on at the same time. A very professional barn with knowledgeable staff, and they even have a tack shop!
After reviewing the response by the owner, I feel compelled to respond. In retrospect, I don't recall the owner drawing attention to the 30 day window at any time. She was very curt, at best. I lost over a $100.00 and do recall that she canceled on at least one occasion. Other folks in the horse community have attempted to discuss boarding at Aubrey Hill, only to be met with disinterest and a lack of professionalism. Kudos to Aubrey Hill, I suppose, that they have enough boarders to justify turning away potentially lucrative boarding contracts.
Beautiful facilities and seemingly well-schooled horses. HOWEVER, beware if you buy a lesson package--the time period for using all of the lessons is 30 days. The stable has no covered arena/area so riders are subject to inclement weather for scheduling purposes. Also, on several occasions, the owner couldn't fulfill the lesson because the horses were allegedly occupied by virtue of horse shows. I would recommend paying per lesson.
It is a great facilities. Horses are wonderful and trainers are professional. They are very accommodative to any type of riders who are willing to learn, although they are very busy with the professional riders that are getting ready for shows. Keep up the great work Aubrey Hill! :)
We purchased a horse from this facility and had a very positive experience from start to finish. The horse was exactly as promised and a year late everyone involved is pleased with the outcome. I would buy from this seller again in the future without hesitation. Thank you!
