Great people very friendly welcoming.
Being new in town, this is the first church we were invited to attend. I am so thankful that happened. Because of the warmth of the congregation (both to me, alone and with my family) we will continue to attend and very much look forward to having Pine Terrace Baptist becoming this family's Church of Choice.
I visited because I appreciate the morning service time being earlier than most churches who have only one morning worship service; however, I don't know that I will go back. I just don't feel at home there.
If you have children, you might check out the children's program. They seem to have lots of activities and a large group of children and youth. Maybe families are more welcome than single people.
(although, I will agree with D Barrow - while enjoyable, the music is only so-so)
I certainly wish they had a "shake hands and be friendly" time during the service, but I realize some people don't want to be forced to speak to strangers/visitors.
The music was so-so my first visit, great my second visit, and so-so my third visit. I enjoyed the pastor's sermons all three times.
On my first visit, no one spoke to me or even smiled in my direction. On my second visit only two people spoke. On my third visit, three people acknowledged me: the man holding the door, the pastor (who greeted me warmly and shook my hand), and a woman who actually cared enough to carry on a conversation.
We love this church my family and I have been baptized by Brother Ray on Easter and I could not be happier to be a new member of this family. God loves, god is good, and there is love in this church and that is what makes a family …
