Good place to stop for the night when driving through. Got in late and left early, but our room was very clean, and the man at the front desk worked quickly to get us a room. It's still a 2 star hotel so don't expect anything high end, but for the price it was great.
The phone lines was cut and there was stains on the Lampshades there was a hole in our bathtub there was an attic access in the ceiling of our room which made the stay a little uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi didn't even work, and our window was held together by tape
Very cold air conditioning which is just what i wanted, clean beds, nice running water has good hot water and water runs like it should as if at real home, free wifi, nice tv, nice big beds and has ice box and microwave and cheap prices.

The stay at this Hotel was a great value. I'm assuming the negative reviews were prior to the owners renovating or they're uppity folk who are used to staying at Marriots only. Blackwater Inn had great service, clean rooms that have a flat screen, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, free Wifi etc, saw zero bugs/roaches in the room, small business, friendly staff. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next drive through Florida.
