I have visited this store on numerous occasions and have always been well pleased with the service. The staff has always went above and beyond to help with knowledge and advice regarding their products. They carry a wide variety of items with a decent selection. This store has been great about tool replacement and are more than willing to order and have delivered, any tools that they may not have in stock at the store.
New craftsman riding lawn mower for $1200.00 which will not start or run after four months (and yes I followed the maintenance schedule). Store refuses to offer any assistance what so ever except "call maintenance". When you do call to attempt and schedule maintenance you get the run around such as "before we will schedule maintenance you must check this yellow wire and blah, blah, blah." Now I see why there are over 400 complaints to the BBB concerning craftsman mowers and other lawn products. No wonder Sears is in such bad shape - horrible products backed by horrible and/or nonexistent customer service. As the single paycheck for a family of five $1200.00 is a LOT of money to us. The salespeople in this store really could not care less. As a customer, I am communicating with the Consumer Protection Agency, the comptroller of the currency, and the BBB. On a personal level as a regional human resources manager, I am putting the word out to my entire servicing area staff in nine states (over 30K folks) to avoid all Sears products, stores, offers, media, and any related business interests.
Super friendly staff, decent selection, good sale prices but you have to shop around. We were very pleased to find a washer/dryer for an extremely competitive price vs. other big box stores. Not everything is really "sale priced" so you have to do your research. Staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. It almost felt like shopping in an "old time" country store where the staff devoted all of their time and attention to helping us. We also priced a grill, which we ended up buying after finding a similarly priced, but inferior quality model at the nearby big box store. Definitely recommended. (Note that the Sears Outlet on Davis Highway in Pensacola is bigger and has a larger selection.)
