Basically I was knowingly given a car that had shifting problems. When I spoke to the rep when turning the other car in, he did not care at all.
I was told to contact Milton.
The last car I rented was low on fuel and the windshield was smeared like it was wiped with a dirty rag. The staff was great, no issues. I Believe Enterprise should change their policy on fuel, I should not have to get fuel when I pick a car up, it should be full.
Car was great but the parking lit is too small to for busy traffic, and thete are no directional signs. I got trapped in the "returning vehicles drive", which was a dead end while trying to pick up my wife after dropping off the car she rented. No way to turn around i was told very curtly, "this is the returning vehicle area, just so you know for next time."
I have dealt with Enterprise worldwide, Europe, Middle East and in various states in the US. This is the first time I experience such poor service.
Another trouble-free rental from the Milton office. The intern (forgot his name) was very helpful and pleasant. Upon return again the staff was helpful and friendly. I've exclusively used the Milton Enterprise office for 10 years and probably 20 rentals and have no plans to change.
Rented a car last year from this outlet. (I usually do once a year around thanksgiving).
I did.
They just gave me the emergency number to call - as if the other stores could not give me that information.
I called and the problem was solved by swapping the car with another. When the car was tested before the exchange the rep said that he had never seen a car with this problem (shifting).
There is a problem with this outlet. FIX IT.
I contacted several offices where I was and non had a car available due to the period.
I had my car at a local body shop, my rental was delivered to the shop which was great. When I got in the car it reeked of cigarette smoke. And not just a light odor. It smelled like a casino! I went straight to Enterprise and was told that was the best car (some teeny Nissan) they had on the lot. I spoke with another woman in the waiting area and her rental was smelly as well, so when I was told this was the best car they had on the Milton lot, I went to hwy 29 one and they helped me out and swapped my rental out. I say, if you need a rental, go to hwy 29 in Pensacola.
The car I was given felt wrong but I was told it was 'normal'. After driving 350 miles I stopped for gas and the car simply did not drive correctly.
Also, asking for a car at a precise time is being delusional there. The four times I had to wait about or over one hour to get it.
