As irascible and cranky as I am, I have to admit that this stronghold of bureaucratic indecency is an exemplar of efficiency.

I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get down to business, which has always been resolved in a professional, tidy manner. Licensing and tax matters made easy, as it should be, when you are getting robbed by the state and county.
Don't, like I have done, waste time on the phone calling the state about driver's license issues. You'll get nowhere slowly, because the state's automated phone system will inform you that all (3) of their employees are engaged in confusing the hell out of other citizens, just before you're advised to try again later and the call is terminated. Screw that action. I called 37 times over 3 days before I sallied forth to this tax collector's office, presented my documents to demonstrate that I've had valid automobile insurance since age 8, and cleared up the alarming and random license suspension perpetrated by the retarded state of Florida. This took all of 5 minutes and didn't cost me a cent.

They are quick and act friendly, but they didn’t let me pass the driving test for 2 times just because I’m not American. I realized that after they lied that They said I did this and that and wasn’t right because I did everything correctly. They lied about the mistakes that “I didn’t do”. First time I went there she said you didn’t pass and made me pay 6$, and said next time you have to pay 16 because you failed. Today they made me pay 26$ and when I told them last time you said 16$ she said nope it’s 26$. They started whispering in front of me to tell each other don’t let her pass today. They are so mean and tricked me. But I didn’t want to have a fight with them. But all I know that they did that on purpose. I will never forgive them for the money they took from me for nothing. And for the test that they said I failed it but I didn’t. I have been driving and practicing for 2 years and they say you need more practice. What the heck people. I’ll never go there anymore.
